RED-TAILED HAWK - Buteo jamaicensis
North America
It is the most common American raptor, and lives from southern Canada to Central America. It has an incredible capacity of adaptation, which allows it to survive in the most disparate habitats and to hunt the most diverse preys. Dimensions: 51-57 cm. Wingspan: 110-140 cm.
